BFP NHQs conducts written exam for FO1 Applicants

Koronadal City (May 18, 2014) – The Bureau Order No. TVL -2014-174 signed by OIC CSUPT CARLITO S ROMERO dated May 7, 2014, stated the simultaneous conduct of Written Exam (WE) for this 2nd batch of CY 2014 recruitment for Fire Officers One (FO1s) wherein two (2) designated personnel from BFP National Headquarters namely: SINSP JOANNE L INTIA and FO3 Edfe T Guinto went to this region as representatives.

There are fifty-eight (58) FO1 Applicants of BFP XII, who went into process as part of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the applicants had undergone orientation and inspections before entering into their designated testing rooms at Marbel School of Science and Technology (MSST) this city.

At about 10:00 A.M., orientation on this activity was given by SINSP INTIA to the assigned proctors and examinees. At 2:00 P.M., examination formally started.

The OIC SUPT ALADDIN M GUIOMALA, MAEM was in attendance together with the Regional Recruitment and Placement Board (RRPB) in order to assist the said examination.

At exactly 4:00 P.M., whether the applicants finished or unfinished answering the test questionnaires, the examination had ended.

One of the male applicants expressed his own opinion concerning the exam that it was quite difficult, and he was not even certain if he could pass the said exam, yet hopeful about the positive outcome.

Applicants then gathered outside the testing rooms to witness the burning of the test examination booklets with photo documentations by the regional PIS Representatives FO2 Michael J Masion and FO1 Evelyn P Barbaso.

SINSP INTIA announced that test answer sheets will be brought to the BFP NHQs Manila through LBC for checking. She further advised the participants to keep posted at BFP XII Official Facebook (Bfp Xii) and Facebook Page (Bureau of Fire Protection 12) for the results of their written exam.

OIC SUPT GUIOMALA reminded the applicants to be optimistic at all times if ever they could not luckily pass the examination, they can still be a “firefighter” to their respective places when they join volunteer fire brigades.
